Challenge
The entry needed the veneer to read as solid stone: level courses, tight joints, and clean lines around the door opening rather than a patchy applied finish.
Result
A modern craftsman entry framed in stacked stone veneer that reads as solid masonry, with level coursing and tight joints carried cleanly around the opening.
Stone veneer lives or dies on the coursing. The in-progress photos show where the work is: courses kept level off the door opening, each stone back-buttered and set for full contact, joints fitted tight so the finished surround reads as solid stone rather than an applied skin.
